And by &quot;embrace the village&quot; you mean be active in del.icio.us, flickr, blogs, etc and build up community instead of shying away from it, right?  Share everything - don&#039;t hide - because someone will find out anyway?

What scares me is image control - how do you make sure that no future employer sees the &quot;real&quot; you that you don&#039;t want them to see?

(Answer: be real to yourself such that you don&#039;t mind that an employer sees photos of you from some saturday night 10 years ago)
